Alma Place is one of the best and most lively student accommodations in Belfast. The atmosphere is great, and Hritik hosted us really well. I genuinely had a great time and would highly recommend it.

I stayed at Alma Place student accommodation in Belfast, and overall my experience was positive. One of the biggest advantages is the location — it’s right in the city centre and within easy walking distance of Ulster University, which made getting to classes and around Belfast really convenient. There are plenty of shops, cafés, and transport links nearby, so everything you need is close. The room itself was modern and comfortable, with a good-sized bed, desk, storage, and an en-suite bathroom. I found it a good space for studying as well as relaxing. The shared kitchen was generally fine, although it could get busy at peak times. The building also has extra facilities like a gym, social spaces, and study areas, which were nice to have, even if some of them felt a bit small during busy periods. Staff were friendly and approachable, especially when it came to maintenance or general questions. Any issues I had were dealt with reasonably quickly. That said, there were times when noise was an issue, particularly at night, which is probably expected given the central location and student atmosphere. I also felt that cleanliness in common areas could sometimes be improved. In terms of value for money, Alma Place is slightly on the expensive side, but for the location, modern rooms, and included bills, I think it’s worth it if you want convenience and a social environment. Overall, I’d recommend Alma Place to students who want to live close to campus and city life and don’t mind a lively atmosphere. It’s a good option if you’re looking for modern accommodation in the heart of Belfast.

The booking process is quick and straightforward, but having some information ready will help. You'll need the name, email, and address of your guarantor, a headshot photo, and a bank card for the advance rent/booking fee (ROI only)
Most properties require a guarantor, who will pay the rent if you can't. Your guarantor must be over 18, not live in a Fresh-managed property, and can reside outside the UK. After signing the contract, your guarantor must provide ID, proof of address, and sign the agreement. Some properties may allow you to pay the full year's rent upfront to avoid needing a guarantor. Check with the Residents’ Team if this option is available.
Most properties require advance rent when booking. This is refundable if you cancel within the cooling-off period, your place is withdrawn, or you cannot get a UK visa. This advance rent will go towards your first rent installment.
