St Peter House, Aberdeen

I would recommend to any student, especially first years. It's so much cheaper than hillhead and the washing machines are free. The rooms are really spacious with a sink and double bed. Also there's been a few nice surprises like we got a £200 voucher and a hot chocolate another time. Any time there has been a problem It's been sorted pretty quickly. Parcels can be a bit annoying sometimes as if they arrive on the weekend you would have to pick it up on Monday as reception is closed over the weekend but it's never really been an issue for me. Also all the staff are really nice and friendly. I do think the beds are a little problematic as the matress are on one big wooden sheet which means they don't get any air flow and also they must be quite old, so they could do with being replaced. If you attend aberdeen uni its very close about a 20min walk and its 20mins the other way to town and about 15mins to the beach. Also for SRUC its about a 20min walk to the bus stop. And their is a bus stop right outside that goes to town and Edinburgh. Overall I'd recommend staying here to any student. When I was looking for accomadation before I was a bit worried about the bad reviews about every student but I think it's great considering it's one of the cheapest student accommodation!

I will preface with this review was not encouraged or suggested by Every Student Staff. St Peters House is the best situated Student Accommodation for UoA students. The building is now equipped so each flat now has a smart TV in each living room area. Beds are all double, with underbed storage, and each room have an ethernet cable to connect consoles to. Staff is always friendly. The only downside to St Peters is the lack of recreational room, however, I believe this could be modified by allowing students a keycard which granted access to the Old Fire Station's extensive and evidently favoured social area. The washing facilities onsite are not included in the accommodation fee, and take around a £2.50 charge for each load of washing, however this fee is waived for early bird bookings.

Perfect place for every student, spacious rooms, good location, closer to both campus and city center, installment plan available, stress free.

It’s my 2nd year at St Peter house and I’m really enjoying it. Very affordable and comfortable for my time away from home. My room is spacious, maintenance are always quick to fix things if they are needed. Get on with my flat mates a lot and reception are always friendly. There is no social space here but are invited to old fire station when events are on and they do have little food bits at reception every so often which you can pick up. Been told they are doing some refurbishment work over summer which will be great, definitely planning to rebook for my 3rd year.
