I’ve really enjoyed my time staying at Caton Court this year.
My experience with Caton has been brilliant since day one, when I first met James and Francesca at the housing fair. They have gone out of their way to make my experience as comfortable as possible.
James, Francesca and the entire Caton team are really friendly and helpful, and have made it a really great home away from home. On the day I moved in, Mark helped make the move-in process seamless. There are always staff around on-site 24/7 to help you if you need it, or if you just want a chat.
The site is also really conveniently located in town, right by Lidl, B&M, Sainsbury’s, and- very usefully- is a short walk (about 7 mins) from the bus station (the best stop to get on at, as the bus can’t skip it and drive past you- which can happen at the other stops during term-time).
It’s also a very short walk back from the student nightclub, Sugar.
The site is really secure, modern, well-maintained and feels safe and warm, and I’ve found the WiFi to be good. The maintenance team are really good at sorting things quickly if you have any issues, and any faults are easy to report on your phone.
Alongside this, Caton has great 24/7 facilities, including: the Sky Lounge (nice for studying in during the day and has a great view, and can also be booked out for functions); Gym; Cinema Room (also bookable); Pool Table & Darts Board. And- of course- there’s Katie the cat (not 24/7).
The Caton team also put up great festive/seasonal decorations and put on lots of events throughout the year, which are really nice and make Caton feel like a community.
For other students looking for somewhere to stay in town, I would highly recommend choosing Caton Court!
