The Lyra student accommodation is situated next to the North Acton tube station in London. This means that the accommodation lies just outside the bustle of zone 1, on the border of the relatively quieter zone 2. For people not yet familiar with the London zones, let us tell you that this is the best possible deal! No matter whether your university is in North Acton or its neighbouring areas or in the heart of the city of London, you are only a few trains or bus stops away! At The Lyra accommodation, you get to enjoy the slower pace of life that is conducive for healthy student life and easy access to some of the best nightlife, social spaces, tourist spots and public transport that you can imagine!
The Lyra offers a wide range of different rooms; from Bronze, Silver, Gold Studios to Gold DDA. Here, you can enjoy your own private space with large, comfortable beds, fully-fitted kitchens where you can prepare fresh, healthy meals, your own showers and armchairs to make you feel at home. The rooms come fitted with Smart TVs so that you can catch up with your favourite shows, movies and other entertainment sources. The DDAs include many other features like ironing boards, freezers, microwaves, kettles, etc., basically everything that you might need on a regular basis.
Speaking of the different facilities being offered by The Lyra, you get full internet coverage throughout the property; both WiFi and broadband! CCTVs and secure door entry have been installed to ensure the physical safety and psychological security of the students. You also get bike storage facilities to store your bikes, be it rentals or otherwise. The common room is an excellent place to unwind and relax with a bunch of your friends after a long day and the outdoor area is an excellent place to soak in the English sun every time it makes an appearance!
